We were recently invited to meet Maree Todd MSP in her role as Minister for Public Health, Women’s Health and Sport, with our project partners at Cornerstone, to talk about our Workplace Equality Fund Menopause Awareness Project.
We learned that Maree has a pharmacy background and so is very interested in and knowledgeable about the topic. We shared our approach and learning so far, and were very interested in hearing more about work in this area within the NHS. With women over 50 being the fastest growing demographic in the workforce today supporting organisations to become menopause friendly is a real passion for us.
It was also fascinating to get a glimpse inside the very impressive Holyrood parliament building and to stand on the famous steps.
