A Revive & Thrive participant, who wishes to remain anonymous, has recently been successful in being offered a Customer Service role with TP in Glasgow. Her story is one of determination and resilience and we are delighted to share her success.
She initially completed the Revive & Thrive programme with another client organisation but unfortunately was unsuccessful in their recruitment process. Undeterred she learned from the feedback provided as well as the support she received through programme workshops and coaching and successfully applied this to the new process with TP.
She had relocated to Scotland from India in 2023 after a 15-year career in risk management, compliance and quality assurance in the IT sector. She had applied for several roles during her career break, attending some interviews but had not received any actionable feedback. She was beginning to lose confidence and this was being compounded by some perimenopausal symptoms. In applying for Revive & Thrive she was keen to:
- Work with likeminded women
- Strengthen her mindset
- Gain fresh perspectives
- Enhance her skills both personally and professionally
- Rebuild her confidence
In her post programme feedback she scored Revive & Thrive 10/10 for meeting these goals. She stated:
