Our founder Morna Ronnie was delighted to attend the Menopause Friendly Awards on 11th September. Now in its third year, the prestigious 2024 Menopause Friendly Employer Awards recognise organisations and individuals whose commitment and determination have succeeded in providing support, solutions and resources that normalise menopause in the workplace.
Hosted by TV and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon, the sellout event had over 400 guests attending in person and via live link from across the country. Organised by Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace, the 2024 Menopause Friendly Employer Awards comprised nine categories that recognise organisations, teams and individuals who have successfully changed the lived experience of menopause in the workplace.
Judged by the Menopause Friendly Independent Panel, winners were those who showed innovation and evidence of the impact and positive change achieved within the workplace. Morna attended in two capacities, one was to represent our client Menopause in the Workplace project with Cornerstone and the other as an accredited network trainer with Henpicked.
She was thrilled to have the opportunity to collect a Highly Commended award in the Menopause Friendly Employer of the Year category on behalf of the Cornerstone project team, who were beamed into the room from the Glasgow office through a virtual link. It was a fantastic night and a great accolade to receive.
