Having successfully completed our partnership with Cornerstone on their two-year Menopause Awareness Project we are pleased to share the short presentation below of our activities and learning.

Part of our commitment under the Workplace Equality Fund was to share our experiences so that other organisations can learn from them.
The project definitely saw a cultural shift within Cornerstone with 76% of staff scoring a 4 or 5 out of 5 when asked to what extent the project had enabled everyone to feel comfortable talking about menopause, and never feeling that the subject is taboo or off limits.
We also received feedback such as “I have been able to openly discuss my own symptoms with my manager and coworkers, and other colleagues have shared their experiences, and there is no taboo or awkwardness around these conversations” and “I think the work done for the menopause awareness project was fantastic and important”. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Cornerstone team and look forward to seeing them continue their work in this area in future.
